About Tricia Londres

A fitness enthusiast, my original favored cardio activity has always been running. In 2001, I discovered Rodney Yee’s Yoga Videos, and thought, why not?  From that first practice, I never looked back and continued to fall in love with Yoga.  It wasn’t long before I wanted more than my home practice and began attending classes at various studios and gyms.  My calling to become an instructor came toward the end of my profession as an ABA therapist. The Mindfulness breathing exercises being introduced at that time as one of the many ways to calm autistic children was a way for me to combine the joy, I received from helping their progress as well as starting my path to being a Yoga instructor.


In the next several years, the more comfortable and confident I am as a teacher and yogi, the more I felt it was time to expand into teaching adult classes.  Presently, I offer Yoga on a 1:1 basis at the location of their choice, professionals in corporate settings, recreation centers, studios, and gyms. I am looking forward to soon hosting retreats and workshops in various locations in and around Northern VA. 


I have studied with Sonia Sumar (Yoga for the Special Child), Craig Hanauer (Every Kid’s Yoga, Teaching Yoga to Children with Special Needs), and YoKid and is certified in Level 1-3 Yoga Therapy 1 and Yoga Back through Yogafit.  Also, I fulfilled certifications with Mindful Schools and attended The Medical Symposium for Therapeutic Yoga. Soon, I plan to continue my education and achieve my 500hr RYT certification. 


Classes I teach include Power Yoga, Mix Level Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Stretch and Strength, Yogalates, Therapeutic Yoga, and Kid’s Yoga for two ½-12 years’ old children. My enthusiasm, creativity, unique style of teaching and love for Yoga will leave students feeling focused, balanced, strong, and enlightened. Namaste.
